...m. The clarity on progression and future outlook seems to be completely missing. No salary hike for some of the folks from last 2.5 years with no hopes even this year. The culture is also extremely bad. The leadership doesn't invest time in the resources. As a Leader, the focus has to be in growing the team, which is not the case here.

Managers are supportive. Workload is evenly distributed. Excellent work life balance.

Different salary for same grade.

They provide excellent compensation which could be better than industry average. However this compensation is on paper since you do not get variable pay as per CTC since company does not achieve its financial targets.

Dislikes

Syngenta do not have a clear vision and path for success. Due to many changes in senior management, the focus keeps on changing and many business decisions are by the whims and fancies of management. Since they get huge pressure to achieve financial targets, many expenses are reduced and hence they fire employees without giving them opportunities to improve or alternate options in case of redundancies. Syngenta just do not care for employees potential, growth and career. Company promotes people who flatters management and not based on performance/potential.
