1. Entire work on few people in project, others will relax and take same salary or in many cases more than you. 2. Less clients and more internal projects which makes promotion delay, unless there is huge dependency you won't get promotion. 3. Promotion depend on no of employees under manager and his budget not on performance. 4. They will release from project just before appraisal so you won't get neither appraisal nor promotion.

Work life balance can be hectic sometimes depending on individual needs and goals, promotional growth is a bit sluggish.
