...y in metropolitican cities by virtue of transfer after every two to three years. The salary is handsome with lot of priviledges and allowances. the work life balance is very good as it takes complete care of family and children with all the facilities within the organisation. A great and honourable service with motto of service with smile.

Duties well beyond working hours and transfer after every two to three years.

...develop excellent organising and Team building and decision making capabilities. After enforcement of 7th Pay commission recommendations, pay & perks have also become highly satisfying.

Dislikes

Promotion policy is not satisfying. Approx. 80% of officers are not promoted to Col & their equivalent i.e. Group Capt in Air Force and Captain in Navy. Transfers are too many. Family life is disturbed.
