If the client is good, Cognizant is good. They offered good salary when hired and when promoted. Udemy and Coursera access for free. Even if we get no work for a month or more, they hold you in the project before releasing you to bench.

When the client is bad, so is Cognizant. Getting release from your manager is tough. All the above factors depends on the clients employees get.

New learning opportunities in the cloud space. They do not look at past experience or relevant experience while giving you an opportunity. All they look for is passion and willingness to learn! This is really a good thing!

Extra cautious of market condition. Hence slowness in promotions and salary hike.

The work culture is great. You will receive instant inputs from leads if stuck anywhere. At TCS, you will feel a sense of accomplishment, of course, along with TCS brand name. Working at TCS has it onw pros and cons. TCS has tied up with leading Tech and non tech learning platforms ensuring employees are up to date with latest trends in technology

You will have to wait for your salary and promotions to increase if you are joining this company with only these points keeping in mind.

First of all, its job security, you will be like your own boss. Secondly, work life balance is too good even if tight deadlines. No micro management even no one gonna ask you for such small thing like away for 1 or 2 hours etc.

Low salary,low percentage of increment, sometimes low infrastructure.
