The VITS Group founded by Vikram Kamat, setup and launched the VITS brand in 2006. Run by its Director CEO Mr. Chandrakant Shetty, an alumnus of rizvi hospitality institute, he has worked in various International and National chains. Such as Orchid Hotels, Juxaso Group Delhi, and the VITS group. Having risen up from the Food Production department into senior most management and a partner in the Group.
The VITS Hotels were first showcased in Mumbai. A new chain of luxury business hotels in India, the first VITS property in Mumbai was situated at Andheri near the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. The property showcased the VITS concept of luxury business accommodation for discerning travelers, quickly propelling itself towards being one of the most-preferred business hotels in the city of Mumbai.
