Department works in various fields to provide irrigation water through its big system comprising dams,barrages,tunnels ,canals and tubewells to the farmers of Uttar Pradesh. Work culture gives freehand to persons with good skill and vast experience can be gained in construction and maintenance field. Job as a civil engineer here is good but as it is a government department stagnation create problems in promotion. Work life balance is good as it is a government job so full security and handsome salary is available. Entered as Junior engineer and promted up to Executive Engineer's post got full satisfaction in serving for farmers of the state who are responsible for giving us a good quality of food and grains.
