I liked my role as a Marketing and Operations Intern since I had to wear multiple hats such as human resources , sales, content creator, marketing and business development.

Dislikes

The lack of information provided about the job profile is what I disliked the most. The Operations lead never gave clear instructions. He even ghosted 2 of my colleagues after the onboarding without giving them a proper closure. He was only considerate of the resources in human resources. Day after day new instructions were given but we were not allowed to implement our own marketing techniques to increase sales. I performed the tasks allotted, hired, trained and lead a team of 15 members. He said he would provide the marketing material but did not respond for days to our texts. Later on we ourselves made the PPT and carried on the induction and also had to cold call people. Even after doing so much for the company and doing justice for our position we got a certificate with a completely different position written on it. Upon questioning he said that considering the number of sales we have changed the position. That shows their toxic work environment and negative work ethics.
