High-Balance Account Holders to Pay Monthly Fees at HBL and BOP
- Habib Bank Limited (HBL) and The Bank of Punjab (BOP) have introduced monthly charges for high-balance accounts.
- Accounts with a checking balance of five billion rupees or more will be subject to a monthly fee of six percent.
- Foreign currency accounts will be charged a fee of 3%.
- BOP will impose a levy of 5% of the account balance for conventional savings accounts.
