Tenured SMs, ADs & some division heads enforce outdated working style & toxic patterns. Optics (AI push, fake numbers) driven culture to lure investors even when base is shaky. Technology Vertical is underfunded, company struggling with operating costs (multiple rounds at same valuation), push to obtain industry recognition / awards. There is nothing to be liked about the company and its culture. There's a high level of dirty politics. To save someone special's job they might put you in such a team where the project is on the verge of its completion. My manager never focused on my work or even bothered communicating just because he wanted to lay me off. They will push you to such a point where resign is the only option.
