Likes

Work culture is certainly better compared to a lot of Tier-1 law firms. Opinions and grievances are heard and addressed fairly quickly. Meritocratic hierarchy. Hybrid work policy. Emphasis on autonomy and good client interaction.

Dislikes

Payband is certainly on the lower end amongst Tier-1 law firms despite same levels of workload and clientele quality and client commitment. Retainer revenues are primarily locked-up at management level. Specialized teams not given their due. Skewered management priorities.

The senior associates and principal associates bully juniors. They set unreasonable and unachievable goals. They expect you to work 24×7 without any breaks. They will replace you in seconds if you commit suicide because of the pressure that this workplace has. THEY HAVE NO ETHICS OR BOUNDARIES. They feel entitled to suck your positive energy.
