Since its inception PTCL has carried out movement of more than 25 million tons of iron-production related materials such as iron-ore, iron-ore lumps, pellets, iron-ore fines, granulated slag and dry slag. PTCL has complete railway liasoning capability through India and also has mastery in loading and latching onto railway wagons of HR (hot rolled) coils, MS (mild steel) slabs, plates and sheets. PTCL has an extensive fleet of its own consisting of over large capacity dumpers, excavators and front-wheel loaders. With a team of more than 350 dedicated employees as operators, supervisors, engineers, technicians and managers, PTCL boasts of its high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
PTCL’s efforts have been recognized by several safety awards from the JSW Steel Limited Group. Presently, PTCL is one of the main contractors for the 4-million-ton capacity JSW Steel Ltd plant at Vijaynagar, Karnataka and the 1-million-ton JSW Steel Ltd plant in Salem, Tamil Nadu.
