SAT quashes SEBI’s order against former PTC India CMD RK Mishra
- The Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) has quashed the order by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) against former PTC India CMD RK Mishra.
- SAT ruled that the allegations against Mishra regarding corporate governance lapses were baseless and unsustainable.
- SEBI had restrained Mishra from holding any director's post for six months and imposed a penalty of ₹10 lakh on him.
- Mishra challenged the SEBI order in SAT, and the order was stayed on June 24.
