- Murugappa Group, through its investment vehicle MAVCO, is set to acquire Hubergroup after receiving regulatory clearance.
- The acquisition, valued at $310 million, allows Murugappa Group to make a strategic entry into the global print/packaging solutions and allied products market.

- Tata Power Renewable (TPREL) has signed an MoU with Murugappa group firm TIVOLT Electric Vehicles for EV charging.
- TPREL will leverage its expertise to set up and manage EV charging infrastructure at TIVOLT dealerships, customer locations, and public spaces.
- TPREL has previously partnered with other OEMs to provide customised EV charging stations in over 100 cities.

EID Parry’s Q2 profit slumps despite revenue growth
- EID Parry India Ltd, a part of the Murugappa Group, reported a decline in standalone profit after tax (PAT) for the September 2024 quarter.
- Standalone revenue from operations increased, but EBITDA dropped.
- The reduced standalone profit in the sugar segment was attributed to lower cane volume, decreased cane recovery, increased input costs, and lower sugar sales.
