Merxius

Merxius Software is a deep technology company based in Hyderabad. Its flagship product is RED, an extended reality (XR) authoring software that features a drag-n-drop based interface and pre-built modules, allowing users to import 3D data (from over 20 formats including CAD, SketchUp, Creo, 3D Slicer, ArcGIS etc.) for creating XR experiences. The created experiences can also be viewed using multiple VR headsets such as Vive, Oculus Rift, Microsoft HoloLens and Samsung GearVR. As of May 2018, it is in the beta stage but users can sign up on the website to get an early access. Applications are in the areas of manufacturing, engineering, design, architecture etc. The company also offers Visionary, a virtual try-on solution based on AR technology; TranslatAR, allows users to scan a printed text for augmenting translated text; and Marmo, an industrial augmented reality framework for machine maintenance, compatible with AR glasses such as Vuzix and ODG. The company has won multiple awards such as Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017 and Aegis Graham Bell Award. It is incubated by Tata Elxis and is part of NASSCOM DeepTech Club.
