Established in 1967, Kohinoor Technical Institute (KTI) is a pioneer in vocational training for technical courses. KTI has a vision to empower the young workforce of India by imparting skills that are Government Approved and Industry Ready. KTI does this by imparting quality technical education that is focused on employment. KTI started with a single centre at Dadar in Mumbai, and has now grown into a national network of over 70 Centres across 6 states – Maharashtra, Gujarat, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana - and was awarded as the Best Institute with Innovation in Skill Development at the BBC Knowledge Education Leadership Awards in 2017. KTI provides value-based empowering education that works to deliver employment and entrepreneurship to the rural India via technical vocational education. Today, KTI trains students across multiple sectors like Automobile, Mechanical, Mobile & Smartphone repair, Electrical, Turner fitter, Computer Software, Hardware & Networking, Healthcare, Fashion Designing, Plumbing, Beautician, AC & Refrigeration and Electronics and is appointed as the Nodal Training partner in 9 constituencies by NSDC. Accredited and affiliated to the National Skill Development Corporation of India (NSDC) and Sector Skill Councils, KTI focuses on providing skilled professionals to meet the rising industry demand.
