Dislikes

They have the worst faculty on the planet. No child can learn anything from them. Also, for one of their schools - Kautilya School of Public Policy, they give a fake MPP degree which was never granted by the UGC to them. However they lie to their incoming students about this.

Likes

The upper level management is working hard to make a transition from teaching based to research based university. You will feel like working in a govt.sector as far as job security is concerned.

Dislikes

Lack of resources and clarity to do experimental research. Disparity in salary and appraisal is a major concern which creates frustration among many faculties. GITAM could easily implement govt. like salary structure. This would substantially reduce the grievance among the staff. You have a lot of talented employees who are ready todive for innovation but unfortunately many of them are underpaid despite having PhDs and post doc from premier institutes across the globe....Read More
