It is great to be working at ECHS as a Doctor, specially if you are in your second inings of your life( post retirement) after your First career. Gives great professional satisfaction as one not only gets to treat all varieties of chronically ill patients, mostly Senior citizens but, most importantly the Armed Forces Vetrans, who have given their youth for the safety of the Nation. Professionally, you are treating patients with acute on multiple chronic illnesses & therefore one has to take into account multiple drug interactions, which can be quite challenging. Great professional satisfaction also comes when as a Dr you are able to introduce alternative therapies like diet modifications, yoga, physiotherapy, exercise protocalls, etc to reduce the intake of the number of medicines & still show improvement in the patients physiology, motivation & overall Health....Read More

Dislikes

The workload on each Dr is very high. Each Dr in most of the big Polyclinics has to see 90 - 150/ patients per day. Most cases with multiple complications. Relatively, the doctors are paid very less. The Doctors need to be paid muchmore.
