However, you’ll need persistence to actually receive it—multiple follow-ups are the norm. 2. Supportive Managers (If You're Lucky) Some managers genuinely care and support their teams. But it’s a matter of luck—if you switch projects, their influence over your situation disappears due to the rigid hierarchy. 3. Competitive Compensation The pay is decent, which can be tempting. However, over time, you may realize that money alone doesn’t make up for the other challenges. 4. Flexible Work Hours (Depends on Your Project) Flexibility exists, but it’s entirely dependent on your project and manager. If you’re in the right team, you might enjoy some work-life balance. If not, it’s a different story. Final Thought: The company provides opportunities, but many benefits come with strings attached. No matter how much effort you put in, appreciation and promotions are reserved for those with the right connections in management. For everyone else, you’re just another resource—easily replaceable. 3. Work-Life Balance? Forget It. Be prepared to sacrifice your personal time, weekends, and mental peace. The expectation is to be available round the clock, with no regard for your well-being. 4. Management That Fails Employees. Leadership exists only to serve the client and protect their own positions. Employee concerns are ignored, and voices are silenced. 5. Employees Are Just Pawns in the Client Game. Your hard work means nothing compared to client satisfaction. Management will go to any lengths to keep projects running, even if it comes at the cost of your mental and physical health. 6. Exploitation at Its Finest. When you leave, they make you pay out of pocket to return company assets like your laptop via courier. But if you choose to buy out your notice period, they will count every single day to extract money from you—without an ounce of shame. 7. Project Managers Who Treat You Like a Commodity.
