As a part of the data science team of C5i Advanced analytics and Applied AI division, we are looking for a Data Scientist who is diligent, detail-driven, and ambitious to provide the SME expertise, design solutions and best practices to lead the projects for our partners across the globe for all AI implementations.

This position will require a strong background and working experience in developing scalable, sustainable and on prem agnostic data marts/lakes to enable effective deployment of AI algorithms developed to solve custom problems in the partner ecosystems for sandboxes as well as for the production deployments for continuous modeling, testing, improvement and deployment.

This role expects you to be a self-starter and ability to handle ambiguity with respect to the expectations, objective, data and would require discrete and constant attention to details. You will be leading and delivering the projects and are expected to have experience in application agile project management principles. You should be organized and have the ability to work on multiple projects, streams of work and stakeholders.

You'll also have the chance to shape the direction of our products and services. This is through gathering feedback from customers whilst collaborating with our engineering and service teams.

• Apply domain expertise in technology to develop data-driven solutions that address complex challenges in the industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and opportunities where data science can provide valuable insights and solutions.
• Utilize Python for data manipulation, analysis, and model development, demonstrating proficiency in creating efficient and well-documented code.
• Showcase a strong portfolio of successfully deployed machine learning projects that highlight expertise in predictive modeling, classification, regression, clustering, and more.
• Hands-on experience in deep learning techniques related to computer vision and/or Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Demonstrate an intermediate level of proficiency in on-prem platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure efficient and scalable deployment of machine learning solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies to provide innovative insights and solutions

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Querying data from structured (SQL) and unstructured data stores; advanced scripting techniques using Python; optimizing code for performance, scalability, and readability; and using statistics and machine learning.
• 3-6 years of proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a track record of successful project delivery and demonstrated impact on business outcomes in domains related to CPG/Tech/Healthcare.
• Expertise in Python programming, including libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, and others commonly used in data analysis and machine learning.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models in real-world applications.
• Strong understanding of deep learning techniques, especially in the domains of computer vision or NLP is good to have.
• Familiarity with PySpark and Databricks is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
