It is a government department and excellent in public building construction. the quality of building constructed by CPWD is very good. It's engineers are dedicated to their work.

Dislikes

The department organization is not good. No sufficient promotions for engineers recruited through SCC and grade of these engineers is very low as compare to various state government organizations. hence no motivation for engineers.
