Managers have little knowledge about the process, and technical processes has non-technical managers, so don't expect them to answer your technical queries.Don't even expect them to pay more for your innovative ideas and work, instead they'll make your ideas theirs and use them to impress the clients, so clients don't know how much of the effort you put in or in other words no exposure to client.
