Senior Software Engineer - Javascript/TypeScript (7-10 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Software Engineer specializing in Frontend development to join our "Drive" team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing our cloud-based applications, focusing on creating intuitive and high-performance user interfaces. You will work on complex enterprise dashboards, visualize large datasets, and contribute to the overall user experience. You will be a key contributor to a collaborative team, working across time zones and with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

Frontend Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable frontend applications using React/Angular/JavaScript/TypeScript/CSS/HTML.

- Implement and maintain complex user interfaces, focusing on performance and user experience.

- Develop and maintain enterprise level dashboards, with the ability to clearly visualize large datasets.

- Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices through code reviews, testing, and documentation.

UI/UX Collaboration :

- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into functional user interfaces.

- Implement and maintain UI/Visual Design token structures.

- Apply UX design principles to create intuitive and user-friendly applications.

Technical Expertise :

- Utilize and expand your expertise in MUI (Material-UI) to create consistent and efficient UI components.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a Micro Frontend architecture (if applicable).

- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and trends.

Team Collaboration :

- Work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate effectively with team members across different time zones.

- Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence, and help improve software quality.

Problem Solving :

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend issues.

- Optimize frontend performance for speed and efficiency.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.

Full Stack Contribution (Plus) :

- Be willing and able to contribute to backend tasks as needed.

Requirements :

- 7+ years of professional experience building cloud applications focused on frontend development.

- Strong proficiency in React/Angular/JavaScript/TypeScript/CSS/HTML.

- Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience working with MUI.

- Familiarity with UX Design principles and UI/Visual Design token structure.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience working with large, complex Enterprise dashboards and presenting summaries of large datasets.

- A strong team player and collaborator, across time zones and diverse stakeholders.
