Backend Engineer - Node.js Framework (3-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js .

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Design and implement APIs for web applications.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire application stack.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and refine software requirements.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements and drive innovation.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Proven 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Node.js .

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js frameworks.

- Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.

- Familiarity with NoSQL and/or SQL databases.

- Version control using Git and collaborative development using Git workflows. Understanding of containerization (e. g., Docker) and orchestration (e. g., Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Knowledge of software development best practices, including testing, code reviews, and

documentation.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.

- Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
