Business Development Assistant

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prospecting: Identify potential clients and initiate contact.
• Inquiry Handling: Manage inquiries from various platforms like Website, India Mart, Trade India, Telephonic, and social media.
• Support to Business Development Executives: Assist in tasks related to Sales & Marketing as directed.
• Inquiry Tracking: Maintain a record of inquiries and follow-up status.
• Strong Follow-Ups: Ensure timely follow-ups with potential clients.
• Lead Generation: assist in generating leads for the business.
• Internal Department Communication: Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal departments.
• Sample Preparation and Tracking: Assist in preparing product and packaging samples, maintain sample tracking, and update recipients about courier details.
• Document Maintenance: Maintain various documents and Excel sheets as instructed by the manager or department head.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and trends.
• Email Management: Checking and replying to emails in a professional manner.

Basic Skill Sets for Candidates:

• Language Skills: proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English and Hindi
• Computer Skills: Competency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills on email and phone.
• Task Management: Ability to take follow-ups and complete tasks on time.

Male candidates are preferable.

Graduate or master's in business administration or specialization in marketing. Graduates or masters from other streams with required knowledge can also apply.
