Devops Lead

Position: Technical Lead - DevOps

Experience: 10 to 15 Years

Responsibilities: As a DevOps tech lead, youll bring software engineering best practices and an engineering mindset to discussions on how infrastructure, security and IT are approached. As a tech lead, you will work across several clients to provide customized solutions to complex technical challenges. You will have the opportunity to actively contribute to our projects; solution architecture, consulting, and taking part in the pre-sales phase are some of the most important tasks. As a tech lead you should be able to oversee and lead the activities of the junior DevOps team members, and responsible for the automation and configuration management of the business's systems and provides stable environments for delivery of quality.

Skills:

• Extensive DevOps engineering experience (8+ years) and leadership experience (3+ years)
• Good experience in assisting techno manager with Requirements gathering, Tasks management, reporting and escalation management.
• DevOps champion on DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible/chef, Docker, Kubernetes, JFrog etc.
• Strong knowledge on Azure DevOps / AWS Code build and also on Azure / AWS cloud services.
• Work collaboratively with the business and technical teams to design, develop, test and manage automated DevOps pipelines.
• Be the point of contact for the DevOps engineering team to mentor, guide and enable them to perform better in their daily work.
• Should possess strong customer relationship skills, take ownership of the deliverables and ensure there is consistency in delivery while maintaining transparency.
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, actionable manner.
• Very Strong in oral and written communication skills & Presentation skills.
• Must be able to own POC engagements and deliver the same on time.
• Ability to work with cross functional teams.
• Identify, research, and resolve technical problems, including developing requirements for new features and enhancements.
• Extract and review DevOps process & policies to drive business decision-making capabilities and ability to analyse & to compile into executive-level reporting.
• Must be able to establish a set of expectations, monitor progress, motivate and provide guidance and support to team members on regular basis.
