Zonal Head - New & Used Car Loans
Location - East / North / West Zone
Reports To: National Head - Car Loans
The Zonal Head will be responsible for driving business growth and ensuring efficient collections for Car loans in the assigned zone. This leadership role demands extensive experience in vehicle loans, strategic planning, team management, and operational execution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving business targets while maintaining high-quality portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development:
Develop and execute strategies to achieve business growth in New & used car loans across the assigned zone.
Identify and onboard key dealerships and partners to enhance loan distribution.
Ensure timely and efficient loan disbursements in collaboration with underwriting teams.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Drive cross-functional initiatives to increase market penetration.
2. Collections Management:
Develop and implement collection strategies to minimize NPAs (Non-Performing Assets) in the zone.
Monitor portfolio performance and initiate corrective actions for overdue accounts.
Set up efficient collection processes and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with legal teams for recovery of delinquent accounts.
3. Team Management:
Lead and motivate a team of Regional and Area Managers to achieve business and collection targets.
Monitor team performance and provide necessary training and development.
Ensure alignment of team efforts with organizational goals and values.
4. Stakeholder Management:
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including dealerships, financial partners, and customers.
Represent the zone in meetings with senior management and provide actionable insights.
5. Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Provide timely and accurate reports on business performance, collections, and market dynamics.
Key Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in vehicle loans, with significant exposure to both sales and collections.
Proven track record in managing teams, achieving sales targets, and reducing NPAs.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of vehicle loan products, market trends, and collections strategies.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
