The Chief Sales Officer provides leadership, direction to the organizations sales function, accountable for overall sales organization performance, the profitable achievement of sales organization goals, and for aligning sales objectives with firm business strategy. Aligns the sales organizations objectives for Sales business with firm business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives. Establishes and governs the sales organization. Provides leadership to the sales organizations management team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior. Proactively assesses existing sales organization support investments, including those in technology, training, and administrative support. Provides managerial leadership to Sales Operations in meeting this responsibility, and works closely with the Business Heads to ensure technology initiatives are implemented consistent with firm technology strategy. Develop a highly scalable yet personal qualification outreach strategy.
Required Candidate profile: 10+ years of experience in IT sales Predominantly in sales and business development of IT products IT Services. Should have managed a large sales team, with at least 4 -5 salespeople reporting. Should have managed large accounts in agencies and have strong client relationships. Should have prior experience in concept sales and creative client pitches. Should have prior experience in handling clients and partners for IT products IT Services. Should have excellent written and spoken and presentation skills. Should have good Negotiation deal-making skills. Should have Very good leadership skillsReady to travel extensively. Ready to work in a start-up environment. Must be willing to relocate to Chennai.
