Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the software requirements, create test plans, and develop automated test scripts. Your work will play a crucial role in our continuous integration and deployment processes, helping us to deliver robust, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools and frameworks such as Playwright,Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other QA team members to define test requirements, create detailed test plans, and execute automated test cases.
• Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure early and continuous testing of software builds.
• Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects to closure using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to assess system capabilities under varying workloads.
• Code Review: Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in test automation.
• Test Framework Enhancement: Continuously improve the automation test framework to enhance test coverage and reliability.
• Reporting and Documentation: Generate test reports, document test results, and provide feedback to the development team.
• Tool Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve the testing process.
• Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on test automation best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: BE/BTech ,MCA,MSCIT
• Experience:
• Mid-level: 1-6 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, Appium, QTP, or similar.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bamboo.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git or SVN.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
• Specific Experience: Experience in testing ERP software using automation testing tools is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Self-motivated with a passion for quality and technology.
• Additional Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other relevant certifications.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience in specific domains such as finance, ERP
• Security Testing: Familiarity with security testing and tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite
