QA Automation Engineer

Job requirements

• Develop and execute automated test scripts.
• Work closely with departments such as development, product management, and IT to ensure seamless integration and coordination of QA efforts.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in QA automation.
• Provide regular reports and presentations detailing progress against KPIs and goals to senior management.
• Supervise and coordinate the implementation of automated testing for various types of tests (e.g., functional, performance, security) across all relevant platforms.
• Ensure automated tests are up-to-date, comprehensive, and aligned with application updates and brand guidelines.

Background of the candidate

• 3-6 years of experience as a Functionality Test Engineer, specializing in both Manual and Automated Testing.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium).
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript for scripting qDemonstrated ability to write test cases using frameworks like Mocha and Protractor, with a preference for candidates experienced in these areas.
• Skilled in using code versioning tools like Git.
• Excellent communication abilities written, verbal, and visual presentation style suited for diverse audiences ranging from internal to external stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, team player, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
