What we are looking for:

AGM NPD will be responsible for leading the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for new products, ensuring efficient production, high quality, and timely market launch, by overseeing the design, testing, and implementation of new processes while collaborating closely with product development teams and manufacturing operations to identify potential issues and implement improvements throughout the product lifecycle

• New Product Process Development:
• Lead the process engineering team in designing and developing manufacturing processes for new products based on product specifications and design requirements
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess manufacturing viability and identify potential challenges
• Collaborate with product development engineers to translate product designs into efficient manufacturing processes
• Develop process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, and detailed manufacturing procedures.
• Process Optimization and Improvement
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in new product manufacturing processes
• Implement process improvements, including equipment upgrades, workflow changes, and parameter adjustments to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Conduct pilot runs and validation testing to ensure process robustness and compliance with quality standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including product design, quality assurance, production planning. and procurement to ensure smooth transition from development to production
• Communicate process requirements and constraints to relevant stakeholders to facilitate effective product
• development Technical Leadership and Expertise:
• Stay updated on latest manufacturing technologies and industry best practices to incorporate innovative solutions into new product processes.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the process engineering team on complex manufacturing challenges
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control protocols

Project Management:

Manage the implementation of new manufacturing processes within project timelines and budget constraints

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including material handling, assembly, and quality control techniques
• Expertise in process design, optimization, and data analysis tools
• Proven experience in new product introduction (NPI) and process development
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional team
• Leadership abilities to manage and mentor a team of process engineers
• Engineering degree/Masters in mechanical or industrial engineering with a strong focus on manufacturing
