Senior Manager - Stores, Dispatch & Logistics

2.ZF Steering Gear (INDIA) Ltd is looking for an experienced Sr. Manager -Stores, Dispatch & Logistics to provide high quality, efficient and proactive work. Working closely with the President, Commercial & SCM and other team members, this is a position for someone wanting to significantly contribute to business performance of our Company

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring day-to-day transactions, in store department

2. Responsible for conducting physical verification of stores and ensuring smooth inflow and outflow of store items Processing of Indents preparation.

3. Maintenance of records, documents, and data for smooth functioning as well as for coordinating with other allied departments. Maintaining Minimum & Maximum stock level.

4. Inventory management Coordination with Inter-departments for material requirement, FIFO for material issue and generating daily, weekly & monthly stock report

5. Accountability and traceability of materials dispatch against Returnable/Non-Returnable MDN.

6. Manpower planning and monitoring man hours utilization.

7. Ensure No Line Stoppage at Customer end due to Supply of FG Parts.

8. Abilities in managing logistic. Kanban (Supplier and Internal) ensuring the availability of stocks & preserving the stocks from unforeseen threats.

9. To ensure availability of Right material at right time, right cost at right quality, right source at right terms.

10. Ensuring all applicable statutory documents are filled and handed over to truck driver as per customer & statutory requirements.

11. Annual budget preparation and adherence.

12. Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc).

13. Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.

14. Stock verification and reconciliation at vendor end.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Graduate/PG in materials management.

2. Proven experience of at least 6-8 years in Senior Managerial roles in Warehousing and logistics management.

3. Experience in strategic planning and implementation of SAP systems with large manufacturing organizations.

4. Sound experience in SAP PP/MM module

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Work independently and collaboratively. Possess a high level of

6. self-motivation, initiative, and innovative problem-solving skills.

7. Excellent knowledge of presentation and report preparation

8. Incumbent must be independent, unbiased, and able to work under pressure
