Job Summary:

The Packing & Dispatch Manager is responsible for overseeing the packaging and dispatching of goods to ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers. This role requires coordination between production, warehouse, and logistics teams to maintain quality standards, minimize delays, and optimize packing and dispatch processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Packing Operations Management

• Plan, organize, and supervise the packing process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure packaging quality meets company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement packing procedures to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
• Manage packaging materials inventory and coordinate procurement with suppliers.
• Monitor and enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the packing area.

2. Dispatch & Logistics Coordination

• Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of shipments to meet customer delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate with logistics providers, couriers, and transport teams for smooth dispatch operations.
• Ensure proper documentation and labeling of dispatched goods.
• Track shipments and address any delivery issues or delays proactively.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatched orders and delivery confirmations.

3. Team Management & Training

• Supervise and lead a team of packers and dispatch staff.
• Assign tasks and monitor staff performance to ensure efficiency.
• Provide training on packing techniques, safety protocols, and dispatch procedures.
• Foster a productive and motivated team environment.

4. Process Improvement & Reporting

• Analyze packing and dispatch operations to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement cost-effective solutions to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
• Maintain reports on packing efficiency, dispatch timelines, and shipment accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve overall supply chain performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in packing, warehousing, or dispatch operations.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation, labeling, and compliance standards.
• Experience in managing teams and working in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse or production facility environment.
• May require standing for long hours and handling packaging materials.
• Occasionally involves overtime during peak seasons.
