Role Description:
- As a Bid Manager at ZestIoT, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by leading and managing the entire bid process.
- You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and winning new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to understand client requirements.
- Develop comprehensive bid strategies and plans.
- Lead the preparation of compelling and persuasive bid proposals, including technical and commercial sections.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, finance, legal) to gather necessary information and ensure timely delivery of proposals.
- Write clear, concise, and persuasive bid documents, highlighting key value propositions and differentiating factors.
- Manage the bid process, including tracking deadlines, reviewing proposals, and ensuring compliance with bid guidelines.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and build trust.
- Effectively manage bid submissions through various portals, including GEM, Ariba, government portals, and customer portals.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of bids, adhering to specific portal requirements.
- Actively participate in reverse auctions, strategically pricing bids, and negotiating favorable terms.
- Monitor auction dynamics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Analyze bid results to identify trends, lessons learned, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed win/loss reports to inform future bid strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bid preparation, bid management, and bid writing.
- Strong understanding of proposal management and bid processes.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Experience in bid portals like GEM, Ariba, government portals, and customer portals.
- Experience in reverse auctions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Relevant Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
