QA / QC Engineer

Position: QA/QC Engineer
Department: Quality Assurance & Control
Location: Vadodara, occasional travel involved.
Reports To: Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Read and Understand Engineering Drawings
2. Understand QAPs
3. Carry out stage and final inspections as per approved QAP

Detailed Profile:

• Quality Control:

1. Perform inspections and testing at various stages of Manufacturing and construction.
2. Review of Test Certificate / report

• Documentation and Reporting:

1. Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC documentation, including inspection test plans (ITPs) / QAPs, and checklists.
2. Generate and present quality reports to the management and clients, highlighting key observations and recommendations.

• Collaboration with Stakeholders:

1. Work closely with Design, Engineering and Project Management to ensure product & service quality standards.
2. Liaise with internal functions, suppliers and contractors for achieving Quality and Schedule for Supplies and services.

• Vendor and Material Quality:

1. Inspect and approve materials and equipment supplied by vendors to ensure they meet project specifications.
2. Evaluate and qualify new suppliers based on quality standards.

• Continuous Improvement:

1. Identify opportunities for improving quality processes and implement enhancements to achieve greater efficiency and reliability.
2. Monitor project feedback to refine quality standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Mechanical.
• Experience:

1. 3 to 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the Fabrication industry, preferably EPC Projects.
2. Proven track record in handling quality management systems and procedures.

• Certifications:

1. ISO 9001:2015 certification (preferred).
2. Additional certifications like ASNT Level II in LPT & RT

• Skills:

1. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
2. Proficient in QA/QC tools and software.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Should be able to communicate in English
