Purchase Executive - Raw Material (Male)

ROLE OUTLINE: Ensure that all purchases have been made consistent with company standards. Effective execution of best practices, vendor management, inventory control, and other system optimization to maximize delivery and quality for Nutra.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

Material Procurement & Vendor Management

• Manage the entire commercial purchase process and control variance.
• Manage existing vendors and takecare of order processing follow ups to get material on prescribed time.
• Negotiate rates with vendors, ensure they provide quality goods and services and handle various other related tasks.
• Develop a structured plan for the arrangement of all the desired raw material with lead time for each order and each product and in accordance with specified MOQ .

Operational Support

• Provide input for estimation, costing for procuring items and optimize utilization.
• After receiving the indent from the PPIC department, and process the purchase order for further approval.
• Assist the costing department in cost analysis of new product formulations by providing necessary input and data.
• Maintain vendor statement records and other related documents.

Record Management, MIS & Reporting

• Coordinate with stores department and ensure timely arrangement of their desired documentation (COA, Invoices, POs). In case of any discrepancies, recommend and implement corrective actions.
• Update central database (Google Forms) with Material status and other raw material data for the reference and alignment of the Production, PPIC and Marketing teams.

CANDIDATE PROFILE & SKILL SET:

• Relevant experience in managing operations in the purchase function, material & inventory management.
• Prior experience and awareness of order processing, procurement, vendor coordination.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work effectively.
• Good Communication, Negotiation & Interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP/SAP software.
