Job Description

The PMT Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of New Product Development (NPD) for AYUSH and FSSAI products, from conceptualization to commercialization, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.

The role involves conducting market research, product planning, cross-functional coordination, and technical support to enhance business growth.

Job Title: PMT Manager.

Location: sector 65, Noida.

Department: Product Management Team (PMT).

Reports To: Sr. Vice President.

Work Timings: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM (Alternate Saturdays off).

Key Responsibilities:

- Research & Planning New Product Development (NPD).

- Conduct market research to analyze industry trends and identify potential new product opportunities.

- Develop new product ideas based on customer needs and market demand.

- Assess and recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing specifications and requirements.

- Perform competitor analysis to benchmark company products and ensure competitive positioning.

- Work with R&D, QA, and regulatory teams to ensure product quality, compliance, and feasibility.

- Oversee vendor strategy and collaborate with internal departments for product design and development.

- Prepare cost analysis reports for new products and share findings with the Reporting Manager and costing team.

- Determine product pricing using market research data and sales cost analysis.

- Strategize effective product introduction and marketing in collaboration with the e-commerce team.

- Customer Engagement & Technical Support.

- Develop and implement mechanisms to resolve technical queries from customers.

- Create and present New Product Development (NPD) proposals with value-driven insights to clients.

- Monitor buyer interest and sales trends to ensure optimal product positioning.

- Research patents, copyrights, and trademarks to mitigate infringement risks.

- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.

Cross-Functional Support:

- Coordinate with BD teams to address technical client queries and generate B2B sales (domestic & international).

- Translate product technical requirements into actionable insights aligned with regulatory guidelines and customer expectations.

- Plan and oversee development phases, resource allocation, and process improvements for product development.

- Review and develop product literature, including study materials, leaflets, catalogs, and website content.

- Ensure smooth coordination with QA, QC, and regulatory teams for required documentation and validation of health claims.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

- Evaluate the functionality and reliability of developed products through discussions with R&D.

- Identify product issues, recommend improvements, and execute action plans to enhance product quality.

- Ensure regulatory compliance for AYUSH and FSSAI products by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Team Management & Development:

- Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the PMT team to align with business objectives.

- Design and review Monthly Action Plans (MAPs) for the team, providing feedback and recommendations.

- Engage with team members to motivate, mentor, and develop their professional growth.

- Address team concerns and provide constructive solutions to improve team efficiency.

Candidate Profile & Skill Set:

- Experience: Relevant experience in product management, new product development, or a similar role.

- Certifications: Agile Certified Product Manager or certification in New Product Development (preferred).

- Strong market research, data analysis, and statistical skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Positive attitude, decisive mindset, and strong team management abilities.

- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.

- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant tools.

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple issues effectively.
