Placement Officer

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Placement Officer to join our EdTech organization. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between industry requirements and student potential by building strong corporate relationships and creating career opportunities for our learners. You will play a key role in ensuring high placement rates by preparing students for interviews and connecting them with top recruiters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with companies, recruiters, and industry professionals to secure placement opportunities for students.
• Develop a robust placement strategy in alignment with industry trends and learners skill sets.
• Organize placement drives, job fairs, and networking events for learners.
• Provide career counseling, resume-building workshops, and interview preparation sessions.
• Act as a liaison between learners and employers to ensure smooth placement processes.
• Track and report placement metrics, including success rates and employer feedback.
• Stay updated on job market trends, skill requirements, and new opportunities in various industries.
• Collaborate with academic teams to align training programs with employer demands.
• Ensure timely communication and coordination with learners and hiring partners.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in placement coordination, career counseling, or recruitment (preferably in EdTech).
• Proven track record of achieving placement targets.
• Skills:
• Strong network of industry contacts and recruiters.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of current job market trends and hiring practices.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
