Job Description
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Track project progress, identify and mitigate potential roadblocks, and proactively communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Lead and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and presentations.
- Manage project budgets and ensure projects are delivered within allocated costs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and quality standards.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing and cloud computing.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with a strong focus on data warehousing projects.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data quality.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- PMP or other relevant project management certifications (preferred).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Familiarity with data warehousing tools (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
