Zenoti - Site Reliability Engineer - SIEM Tools (4-10 yrs)

What will I be doing?

- Design, implement, and manage security controls and practices in cloud environments.

- Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities in a timely manner.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to enhance security operations and incident response.

- Implement and manage security infrastructure as code.

- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline.

- Provide security guidance and best practices to engineering teams

- Establish and maintain monitoring systems to detect and respond to security threats and anomalies.

- Lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and remediation.

- Stay current with emerging security threats and industry trends.

- Propose and implement improvements to security policies, processes, and technologies.

What skills do I need?

- 3+ years of experience in cloud security, site reliability engineering, or a related role

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security

- Strong experience with cloud platform (Azure) and it's security features.

- Experience with microservices and distributed applications and serverless computing capabilities on AWS

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).

- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.

- Knowledge of network security, identity and access management, and data protection.

- Having certifications like CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Security - Speciality is preferred

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
