Taxation Officer

Job Responsibilities:

1. GST Knowledge:

• Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST returns.
• Handle GST compliance and resolve GST-related queries.
• Conduct GST reconciliations and input tax credit (ITC) validation.

2. Excel Knowledge:

• Utilize advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, etc.) for data analysis and reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and generate detailed reports as required.

3. Payables and Receivables Management:

• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensure timely vendor and customer payments while maintaining accurate ledgers.

4. Vendor Reconciliation:

• Reconcile vendor accounts periodically to identify and rectify discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate recording of vendor invoices and payments.

5. TDS and Compliance:

• Handle TDS deductions, deposits, and timely filing of returns.
• Stay updated with compliance requirements and implement changes as per regulatory updates.
