Junior Game Developer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the game development team to design, develop, and implement high-quality multiplayer games using Unreal Engine.
• Utilize your expertise in vector math and linear algebra to create immersive and realistic gaming experiences.
• Apply strong object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, data structures, and algorithms to optimize game performance and enhance player experience.
• Demonstrate solid programming skills in C++ or C# to develop and maintain game systems, mechanics, and gameplay features.
• Solve complex problems creatively and effectively, ensuring smooth gameplay mechanics, efficient resource management, and optimal game performance.
• Work in an agile development environment, following Scrum methodologies to deliver high-quality games within designated timelines.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to integrate assets, animations, and visual effects into the game engine.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements and best practices in game development, actively participating in knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 to 4+ years of experience in game development, specifically in Unreal Engine. Candidates proficient in Unity3D and willing to transition to Unreal Engine will also be considered.
• Extensive experience working on multiplayer games, understanding the challenges and intricacies involved in developing interactive online gaming experiences.
• Strong knowledge of vector math and linear algebra, enabling you to implement advanced game mechanics and physics simulations.
• Proficiency in OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms, ensuring clean and efficient code.
• Solid programming skills in C++ or C#, with the ability to write optimized and maintainable code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and devise innovative solutions to technical challenges.
• Familiarity with agile and Scrum development methodologies, understanding the importance of iterative development, frequent releases, and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
