Senior Data Scientist/Business Analyst

The candidate will have to leverage strong collaboration skills and the ability to extract valuable insights from highly complex data sets to ask the right questions. You'd be engaged in a fast-paced learning environment and will be solving problems for the largest organizations in the world mostly Fortune 500. The candidate will also work closely with internal business teams and clients to work on various kinds of data related problem solving like creating dashboards, automation, reporting, predictive and prescriptive analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Model Development and Deployment: Design, implement and deploy scalable machine learning models using Azure ML Workbench and Azure Cognitive Services (e.g., Open AI, NLQ)

Algorithm Expertise: Apply strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms (like Linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, random forest and time series forecasting) to solve complex business challenges and enhance our existing models.

Collaborative Development: Work closely with our data science and engineering teams to integrate models into cloud-based applications and services.

Optimization: Continuously monitor model performance and iterate to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in the ML field, especially concerning Azure and associated technologies, ensuring our solutions remain industry leading.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4-8 years of extensive hands-on experience with developing ML Models and leveraging auto ML tools like Data Robot, Azure Cognitive Services and others
• Capabilities to implement GenAI/Open source LLM models and run various Natural Language Processing based algorithms
• Proficient in SQL and Python with experience using libraries such as Pytorch, pandas, NumPy and scikit-learn.
• Strong understanding and practical knowledge of various machine learning and deep learning algorithms
• Proven track record of deploying scalable machine learning models in real-world applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Solid understanding of statistical modelling techniques (e.g., regression, clustering, time series analysis), hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, matplotlib, ggplot) to effectively present and communicate complex data insights.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, SnowFlake, Spark) and database languages (e.g., SQL) for handling and processing large-scale datasets.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of CPG industry, Supply chain and Inventory forecasting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Operations Research, Math, Economics, or related discipline
• Strong SQL, Python and Power Bi knowledge with hands-on experience
• Ability to work effectively & independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Ability to engage with cross-functional teams for implementation of project and program requirements.
