Role Overview:

The Cybersecurity Practice Head at Zelarsoft will spearhead our cybersecurity initiatives, driving strategy, execution, and growth in this critical practice area. The individual will lead a team of experts, define service offerings, ensure the delivery of world-class cybersecurity solutions, and establish Zelarsoft as a leader in the cybersecurity domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with Zelarsofts business objectives.
• Identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities in the cybersecurity landscape to shape the practices direction.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate cybersecurity into broader digital transformation initiatives.

Service Development and Delivery:

• Design and manage a portfolio of cybersecurity services, including risk assessment, penetration testing, incident response, compliance, and managed security services.
• Ensure delivery excellence and customer satisfaction by implementing best practices, methodologies, and quality standards.
• Oversee the deployment of advanced tools, technologies, and frameworks to enhance service capabilities.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing cybersecurity team.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.
• Provide technical guidance and thought leadership to team members and clients.

Business Development:

• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to define go-to-market strategies for cybersecurity offerings.
• Engage with clients to understand their security challenges and propose tailored solutions.
• Represent Zelarsoft at industry events, webinars, and conferences to promote thought leadership and expand the company’s market presence.

Risk Management and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, etc.
• Advise clients on risk mitigation strategies and implementation of security policies.
• Monitor and respond to evolving cyber threats, ensuring proactive measures are in place.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in developing and managing cybersecurity programs.
• Certifications (preferred): CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or equivalent.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Experience with security technologies (SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security).
• Hands-on experience with cloud security, DevSecOps, and emerging technologies like AI/ML in security.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships at all levels.
