Purchase Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process for solar materials and services.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery time, and sustainability practices.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and quality.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requests to prevent shortages.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to identify procurement needs and timelines.
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and develop new ones to enhance the supply chain.
• Conduct market research and analysis to keep abreast of trends and pricing in the solar industry.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Knowledge of solar components and supplier landscape is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
