The Manager, HCM will lead and grow our Workday HRIS team. As the leader of our growing HRIS organization, you will guide the Product Roadmap for Workday while supporting the business in achieving their program goals. You'll manage delivery of product, team growth, and implementation of new features to help scale growth.
What you will do:
- Responsible for managing all stages of HCM project, from planning and design phases through testing and deployment.
- Manage our Workday solution to meet our goals and support the Workday global solution.
- Coordinate the work of others, regardless of people management responsibilities. Managing project FTE, scope, budget, quality, and timeline. Motivates colleagues to think outside of the box and bring ideas to fruition.
- Provide our Workday Roadmap - including contribution to overall direction: new modules, release schedule, maintenance updates, and documentation.
- Lead the daily activities of the HRIS team while developing and providing feedback to the team and manage progress communications across teams.
- Identify and consult to touch points, dependencies, and integration aspects across and within HCM to provide a complete solution.
- Champions the HCM product within and outside of the team.
- Maintain technical knowledge by staying current on emerging solutions and building professional and vendor relationships.
- Closely collaborate with global partners across HR Operations, IT, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits and Finance.
- Support full portfolio of HR Technologies and enhance seamless integrations and user experiences.
Who you are and what you bring:
- 12+ years of progressive functional and technical experience in HRIS/HR Technology with the last 5+ years focused on Workday HCM
- You have a BA/BS degree in quantitative or business fields, or equivalent work experience
- You have deep knowledge of specific domain(s), at least two preferred domains/areas: Core HCM/Comp, Security, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent, Time Tracking, Absence, Learning, Benefits
- You have experience leading HRIS/HR Operations teams in a global organization spanning North America, EMEA, and/or APAC; support diverse employee populations from a system and training perspective
- Understands agendas and others' perspectives, recognizing and effectively balancing the interests and needs of one's own group with those of the broader organization
- You have operational and project management experience, driving exceptional results daily
- You possess strong communication skills including the ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages
- Advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- You think of Workday as a Product and design for the customer of the solution, maximizing system effectiveness and overall process efficiency
- You are comfortable and thrive in a fast-paced, continually changing team-oriented environment and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
