Head Of Department - Accounts (8-15 yrs)

- The accounting function needs to capture the full range of activities.

- This makes it an interesting job where the Accounts department has exposure to transaction accounting, cost accounting, factory accounting, project accounting, marketing and dealer accounting, direct and indirect tax accounting, budgeting and control and management accounting.

We are looking for:

- A good knowledge of Accounts, Direct and Indirect Taxation, Control aspects of accounting, Audit and Reconciliation will be essential. The company also runs its own accounting systems.

- A challenging and exciting part of this job will be that you can design reports and systems and are not responsible for running an existing legacy software.

- A good understanding of the accounting standards, the ability to deal with internal and external auditors, and experience in writing the accounts of a listed Company will be essential.

- Experience of at least 8 years.

- Good candidates with lesser experience may also apply and will be made an appropriate offer if found suitable.

Location: The position will report to the Chief Financial Officer and is based in Mumbai.
