Enterprise spend management is a complex process involving diverse expense policies & types, compliance needs and user capabilities.
Zaggle EMS is on a mission to simplify this experience for enterprises world over.
We are looking for an experienced product manager to join us on our mission to develop the necessary capabilities for the future.
Below is how you would allocate your bandwidth:.
Product Management 75%.
- Requirements Gathering: Gain granular understanding of user needs by interviewing customers, working with subject matter experts & business teams, researching competitive products.
- Documenting Requirements: Create detailed requirement documents the communicate the short-term development tasks and also the vision for the sub-module/feature.
- Shipping features: You will oversee the timely delivery of quality-assured and stable features to the market.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design, engineering, quality and implementation teams to develop a shared understanding of the product goals, both short-term and long-term.
Responsibilities:
- Instrumenting metrics: Articulate our goals for every product feature and instrument the product with relevant metrics to track performance based on engagement or valued derived by user.
- Customer Feedback: Actively seek feedback on how customers are experiencing our product and proactively add items to the roadmap to improve the customer experience.
Customer/Market Research 25%.
- Customer Interviews: Conduct weekly customer interviews/surveys, deep data analysis etc to uncover high-value and actionable insights for product development.
- Sales Efforts: Assist sales teams in communicating product vision to prospective clients.
- Product Marketing: Enable inbound marketing through at least 2 high quality blog posts every quarter with AI, tech, product or business insights.
- Develop product experiences that make it hassle-free for employees to file expenses and for finance teams to close books on-time.
- Identify and pitch opportunities for expanding the product scope and quality to better serve customers in enterprise spend management.
- Quantify the value delivered to clients through product and commit to enhancing it with every release.
- Uncover profound insights into customer pain points and opportunities that offer us a sustained competitive advantage.
- Clearly define success criteria for features, call out and validate hypotheses & assumptions before development starts.
- Build & roll out features iteratively, discovering and incorporating customer feedback continuously.
- Foster a culture of accountability for product across engineering, design, quality and business.
- Define and instrument metrics that help us measure performance along well defined business and product objectives.
- Lead efforts to improve Zaggle's standing as a thought leader in the space.
Requirements:.
- At least 2 years of prior experience as a product manager in expense management software domain.
- Overall 5-8 years of experience in software engineering or product management.
- Excellent domain knowledge on enterprise spends of all kinds; spanning travel, vendor payments, utilities, business expenses etc.
- Good understanding of technology in general.
- High-quality experience in building B2B SaaS products with demonstrable results.
- Fair knowledge of payments and finance domain in general.
- MBA from tier-1 institutes is good-to-have.

- Product manager at a B2B SaaS company.
- Successfully delivered enterprise, spend management applications.
- Good communications and proactive player on understanding requirements and providing effective solutions.
- Has at least 4 years of experience in a product company.
