Job Description
2. Establish rapport with all positive clients identified at ICTC and navigate them to access ART treatment
3. Provide ART adherence and treatment support to identified positive clients.
4. Offer index testing options and elicit contacts from the identified HIV positive individual (index client), including spouse, children, sexual partners and needle sharing partners.
5. Sensitize index clients on the need and benefits of testing his contacts and available testing and treatment options.
6. Work with the index client to facilitate partner notification ensuring all confidentiality norms.
7. Facilitate testing of contacts as per their preferred testing option in collaboration with staff at testing facilities, including community-based screening.
8. Provide post-test counselling to newly identified HIV positives among contacts and navigate them to accesses ART treatment.
9. Record all information on index and contacts in the prescribed data collection formats.
10. Ensure reporting on index testing for the assigned facility as per timelines.
11. Responsible for ensuring data confidentiality as per the prescribed Government policy.
12. Follow-up of Index contacts in the field and offer Index Testing Services and counseling as needed.
