Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in team management and data annotation to oversee and drive our annotation projects to success.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in data annotation workflows, lead diverse teams, and ensure project milestones are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management :

- Plan, execute, and deliver data annotation projects on time and within scope.

- Define project objectives, create detailed project plans, and manage risks proactively.

- Monitor project progress, resolve roadblocks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Team Leadership :

- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of annotators, quality analysts, and coordinators.

- Delegate tasks effectively while fostering collaboration and a positive work culture.

- Provide regular performance feedback and implement team development initiatives.

Data Annotation Expertise :

- Hands-on involvement in annotation processes, tools, and techniques.

- Develop workflows and guidelines to ensure data quality and consistency.

- Troubleshoot and optimize annotation methodologies to meet evolving project needs.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring alignment on project goals and expectations.

- Prepare comprehensive project reports and presentations for stakeholders.

- Partner with cross-functional teams (AI, product, and data teams) to align objectives.

Quality Assurance and Metrics :

- Set and monitor quality benchmarks for annotation deliverables.

- Conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and compliance with standards.

- Utilize performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive process enhancements.

Requirements :

Education and Experience :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data annotation.

Technical Skills :

- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and data preparation for training models.

- Strong command of project management tools (e.g, Jira, Asana, Trello).

Soft Skills :

- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams effectively.

- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Certifications (Preferred):

- PMP or equivalent project management certification.

- Certifications in AI/ML or data management are a plus
