Gst Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the end-to-end reconciliation of GST input credits for Motor Insurance claims.
• Collaborate with the Finance Team to support GST input credit reconciliation processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely matching of GST credits against motor claims.
• Work with internal departments to help resolve discrepancies in GST input credit data.
• Support process improvements and address reconciliation variances.
• Regularly analyze and identify discrepancies in GST credits.
• Prepare reports, deck on reconciliation status, input credit utilization, and potential areas for optimization.
• Follow up with all stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues and effective communication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of GST regulations, tax filing, and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software and MS Excel; knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Min – 2 to 3 years of experience.
